Web Design for Construction Companies

Influx builds websites for UK construction and built environment firms: contractors, specialist subcontractors, fit out companies and the suppliers who work alongside them. Each site shows your projects and accreditations up front, so a main contractor, an architect or a procurement team can check you in minutes. Your team updates it without calling a developer.

Who We Work With

We work with established firms that win work on reputation and need a website that keeps up with it.

  • Specialist contractors such as MEP, fire protection and signage firms that sell to main contractors
  • Workplace design and fit out companies that sell to office occupiers and their project teams
  • Suppliers to the built environment whose buyers include architects, contractors and facilities teams

What Your Website Has to Do

Your website is checked before you are invited to tender. The people checking it want different things, so each page answers one of them.

  1. Prove you have done it before. A project library with the client, the scope and the photos, filtered by sector and service.
  2. Show you are safe to appoint. Accreditations, policies and health and safety documents in one place, kept current.
  3. Make due diligence easy. Brochures, capability statements and policies ready to download, so nobody has to email and wait.
  4. Speak to each buyer. Sector and service pages for the contractor, the architect and the end client.
  5. Help you hire. A careers section you can post roles to in minutes.
  6. Be found. Fast pages, clean structure and schema, so Google and AI assistants can read and cite you.

Websites We Have Built

Integra. Integra manages the mechanical, electrical and plumbing packages for design and build contractors. We redesigned their Webflow site in 2025 with case studies, an accreditations section and their quality, health and safety and environmental policies.

"I would definitely recommend Influx to anyone looking to build a new website." Dominic Rowles, Integra

A&F Sprinklers. A fire sprinkler contractor founded in 1986. We refined the brand, built a custom Webflow site with a content hub of projects, sector pages and careers, and a staff portal for their team.

"Their knowledge, skills, professionalism, and attitude are unmatched." Andrew Gill, Social Media & Marketing, A&F Sprinklers

Woodhouse. Woodhouse designs and fits out workplaces across the UK. Their Webflow site carries a project library, a construction service section, insights and events, and we keep developing it with them.

Innovate. A 25 year old signage and wayfinding business that sells to retail directors, architects and construction firms. We rebuilt their site in Webflow in 11 weeks for their 25th anniversary, with sector pages and a case study library. It launched in June 2026 and brought in enquiries from organic search in its first month.

Vantage Spaces. Vantage Spaces designs indoor planting for offices and works with the architects and contractors who deliver them. Their Webflow site won an Awwwards honour and holds case studies, accreditations, downloads and a 3D tour.

"We could not have asked for a better team to build our website." Russell Edwards, Director, Vantage Spaces

Why Webflow, and How We Work

Why Webflow for Construction Firms

Webflow lets your marketing or bid team add a project, swap a certificate or post a job without a developer. Pages load fast, hosting and security are managed for you, and there are no plugins to update. As a Webflow Premium Partner, we build the site, train your team and stay on for support.

How We Work

Every project follows the same six steps, with the same team from start to finish: discovery, sitemap and wireframes, design, build, testing and launch, then support and growth. Where your current site has search traffic, we map every old URL to its new page so you keep it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should a construction company website include?

A project library with photos and scope, your accreditations and policies, sector and service pages, downloads for tender due diligence, a careers section and clear contact routes. Main contractors and procurement teams look for proof of similar work and proof you are safe to appoint, so those two sections matter most.

Can our team update the projects and accreditations ourselves?

Yes. Projects, case studies, jobs and documents sit in the Webflow CMS. Your team fills in a form and publishes, with no code and no developer. We train your team at handover and leave a guide written for your own site.

Do you work with trades and sole traders?

We work with established construction and built environment businesses: contractors, specialist subcontractors, fit out firms and suppliers. These firms sell to other businesses and need project evidence, accreditations and tender documents on their site. Our sister company, Foundation, builds pay monthly websites for trades and smaller firms.

How do you show accreditations such as CHAS, Constructionline or SafeContractor?

We give accreditations their own section with logos, membership details and downloadable certificates, and add them to the footer so they show on every page. Because they sit in the CMS, your team swaps a certificate when it renews, so the site never shows one that has expired.

Will a new website help us win tenders?

A website does not win a tender on its own. It decides whether you look credible when a buyer checks you before the shortlist. Clear project evidence, current accreditations and documents ready to download remove the reasons to rule you out.

Can you move our existing site to Webflow without losing search rankings?

Yes. We record every URL your current site ranks for, map each one to its new page with a 301 redirect, carry over titles and descriptions, and check Google Search Console after launch. Pages that bring in enquiries today keep their address, or move with a redirect that passes their ranking on.

Do you work with construction firms outside Manchester?

Yes. Our team is in Manchester and we work with construction and built environment clients across the UK, including firms in Leeds and the North West. Most of the project runs on video calls, with workshops in person where they help.

What else can you help with after launch?

Search engine and AI visibility (SEO and AEO), Google Ads, conversion work and ongoing development. Several construction clients keep us on after launch to add sections, landing pages and integrations as they grow, and we report on what each change does to enquiries.
